The existing textbooks are great, but sometimes a guide written in plain English might just help you to grasp what’s going on. There's always more to learn (NEVER trust anyone who says they 'know' optics.they most certainly don't) and when I finally got around to taking the Ophthalmic Dispensing course to become a qualified Dispensing Optician I realised that what I was in a great position to do was create a tool to aid learning for the rest of us.
